From April 20 to 21, 2022, CCPIT Sichuan Council held an online video conference with the representative offices of Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce in Germany, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore to exchange views on jointly promoting the work of representative offices abroad in 2022. Secretary General Zou Jiou fully affirmed the work carried out by the representative office since its establishment, and pointed out that Germany, as a European center and the largest economy in Europe, has deepened cooperation in trade and investment, scientific and technological innovation, advanced manufacturing, culture, tourism and education since the formal signing of the memorandum of friendship and cooperation between Sichuan Province and Bavaria in 2017. He hoped that the German representative office would give full play to its liaison advantages abroad, Get to know the latest German economic and trade policies, exhibition information, project information, etc., and provide services for Sichuan enterprises to explore the international market. In recent years, China Arab relations have maintained a high level of development and become a model of China's relations with Middle East countries. Sichuan and Arab economies are highly complementary and have great room for cooperation. It is hoped that the UAE representative office can better play a role of bridge and link in the future work and promote trade and investment cooperation between Sichuan and UAE enterprises. It is hoped that the Singapore representative office will give full play to its functional advantages, make full use of the opportunities such as the entry into force and implementation of RCEP and the construction of a new land and sea channel in the west, invite important guests from the Singapore business community to attend the China (Sichuan) - South Asia & Southeast Asia Business Leaders Summit and other major economic and trade activities of the CCPIT Sichuan Council, meet the needs of bilateral enterprises and promote practical cooperation among enterprises.

The chief representative of the German representative office, Mr. Gong Jiangen, introduced the work since the Covid-19 outbreak, and said that he would continue to serve as the overseas contact tentacle of CCPIT Sichuan Council, actively play the role of a bridge to convey government policies and regulations and the economic and trade needs of enterprises, and promote the cooperation between Sichuan enterprises and Germany.

Mr. Yu Shili, chief representative of the UAE representative office, thanked CCPIT Sichuan Council for its support. He said that the UAE has huge market potential in manufacturing, high-tech, daily necessities, construction, service industry, Chinese education and other fields. He hopes to vigorously promote and publicize to Sichuan enterprises. The representative office will play an active role in promoting economic, trade and cultural exchanges between Sichuan and the UAE.

Mr. Du Zhiqiang, chief representative of the Singapore representative office, introduced the work in 2021 and said that in the next step, we will strengthen publicity and provide professional and effective marketing and promotion services for Sichuan enterprises to explore the Singapore market.
