On May 18, 2022, the Conference on the 70th Anniversary of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade & the Global Trade and Investment Promotion Summit was held in Beijing. In particular, under a series of major opportunities, such as the promotion of the construction of in Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle into a national strategy and the formal implementation of the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP), the investment and development potential of Sichuan has been continuously released, which has attracted great attention at home and abroad.

As an important member of China's international trade promotion system and an important member of the world trade promotion agency, CCPIT Sichuan Council has played an important role in comprehensively deepening Sichuan's opening-up and cooperation and forming a new situation of three-dimensional and comprehensive opening-up. At the event site of the Sichuan Branch, CCPIT Sichuan Council issued the Beijing Initiative of the global trade and investment promotion summit - Declaration on Sichuan Action , which will practice the concept of openness and cooperation, promote innovative and green development, create a first-class business environment, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, build more open platforms, strengthen exchanges and seek common development with trade promotion institutions in various countries and regions, and jointly promote trade and investment cooperation between Sichuan and the world, Boost Sichuan's high-level opening to the outside world.
