From November 19 to 26, CCPIT Sichuan Council led a 22-member economic and trade delegation from 14 enterprises in Sichn Province to Korea uaand Japan to carry out economic and trade exchanges, participate in the 2024 Coex Food Week, and visited relevant economic and trade institutions.

In Korea, the Sichuan delegation brought food processing machinery and equipment, organic agricultural products, Sichuan condiments, wine products, ready-to-eat foods, cooking foods, Chinese medicinal materials and other products to participate in the Coex Food Week, which was highly concerned by enterprises from Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, the United States, Canada and other countries and regions. During the exhibition, Sichuan enterprises received a total of 400 merchants with a transaction amount of 330,000 yuan on site, and an intended transaction amount of more than 2 million yuan and a number of intended procurement projects. Overseas merchants have shown a strong interest in "made in Sichuan" products and a strong intention to cooperate. Exhibitors said that this trip was a fruitful and in-depth communication with merchants on the spot, to understand trade policies, cutting-edge information, the harvest of overseas intention orders and customers, enhance the confidence of enterprises to expand overseas markets.

The delegation visited the Korea-China Cultural Association, Korea International Trade Association, Jinsen Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Korea Small and Medium Business Administration, investigated the Incheon Free Economic Zone, promoted the investment environment and related policies of Sichuan Province, and invited them to participate in economic and trade activities in Sichuan Province, to promote bilateral economic and trade exchanges and cooperation.

In Japan, the delegation visited the venues of Expo 2025 Osaka, exchanged views with relevant cooperation institution of Expo 2025 Osaka on the work related to the Sichuan delegation's participation in Expo Osaka, and further promoted the friendly cooperation between Sichuan and Japan through the Expo platform. The delegation met with Sichuan Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in Japan, Japan China Industrial Innovation Promotion Association and Japan External Trade Organization.
