On December 5, 2024 Chile Week Chengdu was officially launched in Chengdu.Hu Yun, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Sichuan Province, Ignacia, Vice Minister of Agriculture of Chile, and Fernández, Director General of ProChile attended the inauguration ceremony and delivered speeches. Fan Jun, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan, was invited to attend the event.

2024 Chile Week Chengdu includes activities such as agricultural and food seminars, business exhibitions. More than 27 Chilean companies specializing in fruits, seafood, meat, and wine participated in the event. CCPIT Sichuan and the Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce organized nearly 50 enterprises to attend the event, such as the Port Investment Group, Hongqi Chain, and Wuliangye.

Secretary-General Ren Rongjian, personnel from the International Relations Department and Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce participated in the event.
