From December 2 to 3, 2024, James Wang, Chairman of the New Power Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce of Canada, Xu Qiang, General representative of the CCPIT Representative Office in Canada and a delegation of Canadian entrepreneurs visited Sichuan for economic and trade exchanges.

Huang Li, President of CCPIT Sichuan, met with James and Xu President. Huang Li thanked and welcomed the delegation to visit Sichuan for economic and trade exchanges. President Huang Li briefly introduced the situation of Sichuan province and the functions of the CCPIT Sichuan. She pointed out that Sichuan have cooperation with Canada in economic and trade investment, sister city exchanges, science, education and cultural tourism. CCPIT Sichuan hope to strengthen the interaction and cooperation with the CCPIT Representative Office in Canada and the New Power Entrepreneurs' Chamber of Commerce, continue to deepen exchanges and jointly promote trade and investment cooperation.

James thanked the reception of CCPIT Sichuan. He said that he is willing to strengthen interaction and cooperation with CCPIT Sichuan, and promote Sichuan's high-quality products to enter the North American and Central American markets. Xu President thanked CCPIT Sichuan for its support and hoped to continue to promoting the cooperation between Sichuan and Canada in various fields.

After the meeting, CCPIT Sichuan and Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce held the Sichuan-Canada Enterprise docking Fair. Lei Xuejie, Vice President and Xu Qiang, President delivered speeches. They all expressed that they will build an efficient platform for the economic and trade exchanges between Sichuan and Canada, so as to promote the economic and trade exchanges between the two places. Fourteen Sichuan institutions and enterprises conducted with Canadian enterprises on investment in Sichuan, Sichuan enterprises overseas consulting services, logistics, agricultural and sideline products and lithium batteries.

The delegation visited Shuanghu Industrial Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Yunshang International Supply Chain Co., Ltd., and discussed the customization of the whole house, the mutual trade of Sichuan and Canadian characteristic products.

During the second CISCE, the delegation also participated in the China (Sichuan-Chongqing) Hot Pot Industry International Promotion Conference in Beijing, and visited the Sichuan-Chongqing Hot Pot Industry Supply Chain exhibition area.

Vice President Fan Jun, personnel from the International Relations Department, the Trade and Investment Promotion Department and Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce participated in the above activities.
