On March 10, 2025, Mrs. Huang Li, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade （CCPIT）Sichuan Council, met with Mr. Nobasawa Takeo, the newly appointed director of the Shanghai and Chengdu offices of the Japan - China Economic Association, and his delegation.

President Huang Li, on behalf of the CCPIT Sichuan Council and the Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce, welcomes the visit of the Japan - China Economic Association and expresses gratitude to former director Sasahara Shin for his strong support to CCPIT Sichuan Council, and congratulates the newly appointed director Nobasawa Takeo on his new appointment. Focus on introducing the situation of Sichuan Province and the new opportunities for Sichuan's opening-up and development, and provide a detailed introduction to the functions, responsibilities, and unique advantages of the CCPIT Sichuan Council and the Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce. We hope that the Japan - China Economic Association will actively participate in and support the series of activities of the Sichuan Week at the China Pavilion during the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and continue to maintain cooperation in areas such as group visits and serving foreign-funded enterprises.

Director Nobasawa Takeo thanks the CCPIT Sichuan Council for its support of the Chengdu office, stating that the cooperation between the two sides has a long history. After taking office, he will continue to increase the cooperation with the CCPIT Sichuan Council, especially to assist in organizing the Sichuan Week at the China Pavilion during the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and jointly promote economic and trade investment exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and the Japanese business community.
