On June 25th, the U.S.-China Low-Carbon Industry Seminar was held in Chengdu, with over 80 representatives from relevant institutions and enterprises of both countries in attendance. Everett Wakai, Minister-Counselor for Commercial Affairs, U.S. Embassy Beijing, and Li Xiang, Deputy Director General, Department of Industry Promotion, CCPIT and Lei Xuejie, Vice President of Sichuan CCPIT, attended the Seminar and delivered speeches.
At the Seminar, representatives from U.S. companies such as Corning, 3M, Gradiant, Aquatech, Musco Lighting, EMSI, Biocleaner, and New Energy Nexus, as well as Chinese counterparts from Department of Ecology and Environment of Sichuan Province,Sichuan Energy Development Group and Sichuan Huashi Group, respectively introduced their business needs, technological advantages, and potential future cooperation opportunities. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on market expansion and business cooperation in the green and low-carbon industry.
The Seminar was jointly organized by the Minister-Counselor for Commercial Affairs of U.S. Embassy Beijing, Department of Industry Promotion of CCPIT and hosted by Sichuan CCPIT. The aim was to actively promote practical exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and U.S. enterprises in the green and low-carbon field.
