The "2025 China-West Africa Medical and Health Industry Expo” was held in Accra, the capital of Ghana, from August 20 to 22 (local time). This year's expo aimed to promote the application of artificial intelligence in medical diagnosis and deepen economic and trade cooperation between China and West African countries. It attracted over 100 Chinese enterprises, more than 500 hospitals and clinics, and over 1,500 professional buyers to participate.

Julius Debrah, Director of the Office of the President of Ghana, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. He stated that the Ghanaian government attaches great importance to the development of the national medical and health system and strives to build Ghana into a medical technology hub in West Africa, hoping to achieve this goal through the joint efforts of government departments, associations, and industry enterprises. This expo is highly aligned with the Ghanaian government's medical development plan. The gathering of government officials, medical experts, university scholars, manufacturers, and suppliers to share solutions and establish cooperation will help Ghana introduce cutting-edge medical technologies and modern medical equipment, and continuously improve the service capabilities of hospitals and medical and health institutions in West Africa in a systematic manner.

CCPIT Sichuan Council organized 22 enterprises and medical experts to participate in the expo, bringing advanced medical products and services including health big data management platforms, health monitoring equipment, intelligent health management systems, anti-infective drugs, chronic disease treatment drugs, diagnostic reagents, clinical testing equipment, operating room assistive devices, medical consumables, and stem cell therapy. During the expo, the Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce and the Federation of Ghanaian Chinese Associations signed a cooperation memorandum, aiming to further strengthen exchanges and communication between the business communities of Sichuan Province and Ghana, and deepen cooperation in trade, investment, and legal fields. Enterprises from Sichuan received over 800 batches of professional visitors, achieved on-site transactions of more than 600,000 yuan, and reached more than 10 intentional agreements on portable X-ray machines, mosquito repellents, laser diagnosis and treatment equipment, and digital construction of medical systems.
