On July 10th, the 10th China (Chengdu) Smart Industry International Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Expo") opened in Chengdu. The Expo focuses on the sub-sectors of the smart industry, striving to build a platform for incubating innovative achievements and a bridge for industrial connection, injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of Sichuan's economy.

The Expo, with the theme of "Developing Digital Economy and Building a Smart Society", covers an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters. Thirteen cities (prefectures) in Sichuan Province, including Yibin, Nanchong, Meishan, Guang 'an, Leshan, Guangyuan, Dazhou and Deyang, are participating. Nearly 200 leading enterprises from both within and outside the province in the fields of low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles, clean energy and energy storage, including Haibo Lian, AVIC Chengdu, Dongfang Electric, Tongwei Group, Hytera, Safun Energy Storage, Hongzheng Energy Storage and Dongfang Xuneng, participated in the exhibition. The expo covers topics such as intelligent manufacturing, smart city construction, smart education and educational equipment, cloud computing platforms and information security, aircraft research and development and manufacturing, aviation airspace services, Beidou equipment technology, and Beidou satellite communication.

This expo has for the first time set up two major theme exhibition areas: "Smart Energy" and "Low-altitude Economy". The 2025 China Smart Industry Chain International Application Conference, as a core event, will feature keynote speeches and four special reports, including "Beidou Promoting the Development of Intelligent Industry" and "Empowering Intelligent Development with Spatio-Temporal Information Technology". In the low-altitude economy section, the intangible cultural Heritage International Science and Technology Innovation low-altitude Economy micro-crossing machine racing performance event, in the form of "exhibition, trade and performance", deeply integrates traditional intangible cultural heritage with modern technology, bringing the audience a cross-border experience of technology and culture.

The Expo lasts for three days and will end on July 12th. More than 10 main (special) events will be held concurrently, including the 2025 China Smart Industry Chain International Application Conference, the 2025 China Smart Energy Conference, and the Special Event on the Large-scale Application of Beidou and the Development of Low-altitude Economy, covering cutting-edge topics such as "Large-scale Application of Beidou", "Policy Interpretation of Low-altitude Economy", and "Technological Innovation in Smart Energy", aimed at accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces such as low-altitude economy, Beidou application and smart energy. In the future, the Chengdu Smart China Expo will continue to be driven by innovation, gather global resources, contribute to the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, and inject new impetus into the development of the smart industry.
