From September 14th to 19th, 2025, Wang Guangjun, a second-level inspector of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Council, led a Sichuan economic and trade delegation to visit Russia and Belarus. They participated in the 2025 Moscow Food Exhibition in Russia, held the China (Sichuan) - Russia Economic and Trade Symposium and the China (Sichuan) - Belarus Economic and Trade Symposium, visited and conducted research on relevant trade promotion institutions, business associations and industrial parks, and promoted the deepening of economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and Russia as well as Belarus.
The Moscow Food Exhibition in Russia is one of the most prestigious exhibitions in the food and beverage industry in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. As a barometer of the food industry in Eastern Europe, the exhibition precisely covers the entire food industry chain, from upstream to downstream, and has attracted numerous enterprises from over 40 countries and regions around the world to participate, including wholesale and retail, catering groups, and importers. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Council organized six food enterprises from our province to visit and negotiate at the exhibition, and select the best partners to expand overseas markets.

During the visit to Russia, a China (Sichuan) - Russia Economic and Trade Symposium was held, with over 20 representatives from local business associations and enterprises in attendance. At the symposium, five Sichuan enterprises made company presentations and introduced their cooperation demands with Russia, and then engaged in exchanges and cooperation with Russian enterprises present. Sichuan Shuxiake Trade Co., Ltd. reached a preliminary agreement with a Russian partner on the export of beverages; Nanchong Chunjun Trading Co., Ltd. is considering exporting frozen vegetables to Russia; Sichuan Haoshilai Food Co., Ltd. plans to visit Russia again next year for in-depth market research. During the visit to Belarus, two China (Sichuan) - Belarus Economic and Trade Symposia were held, with over 30 representatives from local business associations and enterprises in attendance. At the symposiums, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Council signed cooperation memorandums with the Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of Belarus. Four Sichuan enterprises and nine Belarusian enterprises made company presentations respectively, and then the two sides engaged in exchanges and cooperation. Sichuan Yinyou Technology Co., Ltd. reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with MK Food Company of Belarus, and Ya'an Times Biotech Co., Ltd. reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with Minsk Margarine Factory Joint-Stock Company.

During the visit to Russia and Belarus, the delegation paid visits to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Representative Office in Russia, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the China Chamber of Commerce in Russia, the Sichuan-Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in Russia, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Belarus, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Republic of Belarus, the Management Committee of the China-Belarus Industrial Park and other local business associations and trade promotion institutions. They elaborately introduced the policy opportunities and advantageous industries of Sichuan, publicized the functions of trade promotion and key events such as the Western China International Fair, Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services, China(Chengdu) Smart Industry International Expo and the Great Health Expo of our province and our council, and invited relevant institutions to form delegations to visit Sichuan.


Through activities such as exhibition visits, promotional talks, and business exchanges, the Sichuan economic and trade delegation successfully told the story of Sichuan, promoted the products of enterprises, investigated the markets of the two countries, and explored potential for cooperation. This has effectively promoted economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and Russia as well as Belarus. The participating enterprises were all satisfied with the outcome of the visit and are full of confidence in opening up the markets of the two countries. In the next step, they will continue to increase the intensity of connection and actively promote the transformation of cooperation intentions into actual orders.
