On September 19, Lv Furong, President of the CCPIT Sichuan Council,  met with a delegation led by Alan Zhou, Regional Director of Western China of Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

President Lv Furong extended a warm welcome to Chief Representative Alan Zhou and his delegation, and expressed sincere gratitude to the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) for its long-term support for the work of the  CCPIT  Sichuan Council. She emphasized that Hong Kong is an important cooperative partner for Sichuan's opening-up and development, with a solid foundation for cooperation, broad space, and strong industrial complementarity between the two sides. She expressed the expectation that both parties will further strengthen mechanism alignment, joint platform construction, and resource sharing, learn from Hong Kong's advanced experience and practices, leverage Sichuan's late-mover advantages, deepen market synergy, and jointly help enterprises explore the international market. In particular, they should implement the spirit of the Seventh Plenary Session of the 12th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, accelerate the transformation of cultural and tourism resource advantages into high-quality development advantages, promote interactive cooperation and mutual empowerment between the Golden Panda Award and the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market, leverage the international influence and commercial value of well-known exhibition events, and stimulate the integrated development of multiple industries such as culture, tourism, and commerce.

Chief Representative Alan Zhou thanked the CCPIT Sichuan Council for its warm reception, and gave a detailed introduction to the core functions, organizational structure, and recent key work of the HKTDC. He stated that the western region is a key area of focus for the HKTDC, and the council will actively promote in-depth cooperation between Hong Kong and Sichuan in multiple fields such as scientific and technological innovation, integration of culture and tourism, film and television art, biomedicine, medical devices, food and beverages, and consumer electronics, to serve the international development of Sichuan enterprises.

Heads of the General Office, International Relation Department, and Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the CCPIT Sichuan Council attended the meeting.
