From October 14 to 18, 2025, CCPIT Sichuan Council organized an economic and trade delegation to visit Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The delegation participated in the 2025 Uzbekistan International Home and Commercial Textiles Exhibition, hosted the China (Sichuan) - Kazakhstan Economic and Trade Meeting, and paid visits to relevant trade promotion institutions and chambers of commerce, aiming to deepen economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and the two Central Asian countries.

Covering an exhibition area of approximately 8,000 square meters, the 2025 Uzbekistan International Home and Commercial Textiles Exhibition gathered 250 high-quality enterprises from 6 countries including China, Russia, and India, attracting over 1,500 professional buyers from 15 countries and regions worldwide. Four enterprises from Sichuan participated in the exhibition, reaching cooperation intentions with 6 enterprises with an intended amount of about 550,000 RMB.

The China (Sichuan) - Kazakhstan Economic and Trade Meeting was attended by more than 20 representatives from Kazakh institutions and enterprises. Sichuan-based enterprises delivered promotional presentations and conducted supply-demand matching with participating Kazakh institutions. Sichuan Honk Network Technology Co.,Ltd. reached an intention for the procurement of digital systems with one Kazakh enterprise. 

During the visit, the delegation called on institutions such as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the republic of Uzbekistan, the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan, QazTrade, Atameken , Kazakhstan National Investment Corporation, Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of People's Republic of China in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the CCPIT Representative Office in Kazakhstan, and the Kazakhstan-China General Chamber of Commerce. The delegation made detailed presentations on Sichuan's policy opportunities and advantageous industries, promoted the functions of the trade promotion council as well as key local events such as the Western China International Fair, Chengdu Auto Parts Exhibition, Smart China Expo, and Western China Health Industry Expo, and invited relevant institutions to organize delegations to visit Sichuan.

Through participating in exhibitions, forums, promotional activities, and courtesy visits, the Sichuan economic and trade delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the development potential of relevant industries in the Uzbek and Kazakh markets, laying a solid foundation for local enterprises to further explore the Central Asian market. Participating enterprises expressed satisfaction with the results of the visit and full confidence in developing the Central Asian market. They plan to continuously strengthen docking efforts, formulate detailed plans, and actively promote the conversion of cooperation intentions into actual orders.
