The 18th China-LAC Business Summit kicked off in Zhengzhou, Henan Province on November 3, 2025. He Baoxiang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Liu Ning, Secretary of CPC Henan Provincial Committee, Ren Hongbin, President of CCPIT, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Wang Kai, Governor of Henan Provincial People's Gorvernment presided the opening ceremony. More than 1,000 people, including political leaders, diplomatic envoys in China, heads of business associations, representatives of entrepreneurs, and renowned experts and scholars from China and Latin American and Caribbean countries, attended the event on site. Wang Guangjun, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan, attended the event.

This summit is jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the People's Government of Henan Province and the People's Bank of China, with the theme of "Embracing Innovation and Intelligence for A Shared Future". A variety of activities were held, including the opening ceremony, plenary sessions, parallel meetings, roundtable meetings of trade promotion institutions and business associations between China and Latin America, a dialogue on cooperation between Chinese and Latin American think tanks, a business matching and negotiation meeting between China and Latin America, image exhibitions of China and Latin American countries, and visits and research by the participants. At the roundtable meeting, CCPIT Sichuan briefly introduced the provincial conditions of Sichuan and the exchanges between CCPIT Sichuan and Latin America. CCPIT Sichuan also put forward suggestions in combination with the development of digital intelligence and economic and trade exchanges between the two places, hoping to strengthen the cooperation mechanism, carry out precise matching, deepen industrial collaboration, expand the dimensions of cooperation, and jointly build a humanistic bond and reach a consensus on cooperation.

Personnel from the International Relations Department, the Trade and Investment Promotion Department, and the Sichuan International Exhibition Center  participated in the event.
