On January 23rd, Mrs. Lv Furong, President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Council (CCPIT Sichuan Council), led a delegation to visit the Chengdu Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and held working talks with Mr. Alan Zhou, Regional Director of of Western China of HKTDC and his entourage.

President Lv Furong thanked HKTDC for its long-term strong support. She highlighted the key work of CCPIT Sichuan Council in 2026, including exhibition and event activities, commercial legal services, the Enterprise Going Global Service Center, and the Special Working Group for Serving Foreign-funded Enterprises. She specifically mentioned platforms such as the Hong Kong Wine & Spirits Fair, Chengdu Auto Parts Exhibition, Chengdu Smart Expo, China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (CISCE), and the Sichuan-South and Southeast Asia Business Development and Cooperation Conference. She noted that Hong Kong has long remained Sichuan's largest investment destination and source of foreign capital, with a solid foundation for Sichuan-Hong Kong cooperation and increasing room for future collaboration. She expressed the hope that both parties will further strengthen daily exchanges, sign a cooperation memorandum in a timely manner, share overseas resources, co-build exhibition platforms, jointly discuss research plans, and work together to help Sichuan characteristic products such as Sichuan liquor, Sichuan cuisine, and Sichuan tea explore the international market.

Regional Director Alan Zhou warmly welcomed President Lv Furong  and her delegation, and focused on introducing HKTDC's important methods and key initiatives in assisting mainland enterprises to "go global". He stated that he hopes to work with CCPIT Sichuan Council to leverage their advantages in overseas liaison channels, not only to promote Sichuan products to go global, but also the international expansion of technical services, intellectual property, and industrial chains, supporting the international development of Sichuan enterprises.

Fan Jun, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan Council, along with relevant responsible persons from the International Relation Department, Trade and Investment Promotion Department, and Commercial Legal Department, participated in the talks.
