On January 15, Lv Furong, President of CCPIT Sichuan, met with Gou Yiquan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Neijiang Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and his delegation. Fan Jun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President, attended the meeting.
Lv Furong, extended a warm welcome to Gou Yiquan's delegation and expressed gratitude for the long-term support from Neijiang Municipal Party Committee and Government. She highlighted that Neijiang's foreign trade volume is projected to exceed 10 billion yuan by 2025, with notable achievements in stabilizing foreign trade and optimizing the business environment. The city has made significant progress in organizing corporate exhibitions, upgrading commercial legal services, and developing the Southeast Asia Industrial Park. She emphasized that in 2026, CCPIT Sichuan system will adhere to the "1213" strategic framework to strengthen coordination between provincial and municipal levels.The CCPIT Neijiang should focus on specialized industries, precisely address corporate needs, leverage exhibition platforms, and integrate into the province's broader opening-up strategy. The CCPIT Sichuan will fully support Neijiang in hosting the 9th World Sichuan Cuisine Conference and jointly implement the "Commercial Legal Services in Industrial Parks" initiative to promote resource complementarity and industrial upgrading.
Gou Yiquan expressed gratitude to the CCPIT Sichuan for its support to Neijiang's development. He emphasized that Neijiang has adopted a comprehensive strategy focusing on "expanding industries, strengthening logistics, beautifying rural areas and urban development, and promoting shared prosperity." The city remains committed to opening up to the outside world, aligning with the goals of high-quality development in an open economy. Key initiatives include enhancing the quality of foreign trade, improving the efficiency of foreign investment, boosting the exhibition economy, and ensuring robust commercial legal frameworks—all of which are driving the city's high-level openness.
