On January 29, 2026, Lei Xuejie, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan, led a delegation to Beijing to pay visits to the Embassies of Vietnam and Italy in China respectively and conduct work exchanges.

Vice President Lei Xuejie expressed gratitude to the two embassies for their warm reception and long-term support for the work of CCPIT Sichuan. She briefly introduced Sichuan's conditions, industrial advantages as well as the key work of CCPIT Sichuan in 2026, and sincerely invited the two embassies to actively organize enterprises to participate in major exhibitions and events hosted by CCPIT Sichuan, including the Sichuan-South Asia and Southeast Asia Business Development and Cooperation Conference, Sichuan's supporting activities for the China International Supply Chain Expo, The Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services, China (Chengdu) Smart Industry International Expo. She also urged the embassies to make full use of the special working group for serving foreign-invested enterprises to provide practical services for foreign-invested enterprises in Sichuan.

Nông Đức Lai, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Vietnam in China, and Giulio Bolaffi, Counsellor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office at the Embassy of Italy to China, met with Vice President Lei Xuejie separately. They stated that Sichuan boasts an advanced and complete industrial system as well as a huge consumer market, and their embassies attach great importance to developing economic and trade investment relations between their respective countries and Sichuan. They pledged to take an active part in relevant activities and continuously promote exchanges between their countries and Sichuan in such fields as the smart industry, new energy vehicles, green agriculture and cultural tourism.
