On January 27, 2026, Zhang Wenqing, Vice President of Corning China, paid a visit to CCPIT Sichuan. Vice President Wang Guangjun met with the delegation.

Wang Guangjun extended a warm welcome to Vice President Zhang Wenqing for his visit. He briefly introduced Sichuan's conditions, development advantages, as well as the functions and responsibilities of CCPIT Sichuan and its key work in 2026. He invited Corning to actively participate in major exhibitions and events hosted by CCPIT Sichuan, such as The Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services, China (Chengdu) Smart Industry International Expo, and Sichuan's supporting activities for China International Supply Chain Expo, and to make good use of the special working group platform for serving foreign-invested enterprises to jointly explore cooperation opportunities.

Vice President Zhang Wenqing briefly introduced Corning and the development of its business in Sichuan. He stated that Corning attaches great importance to market expansion in Sichuan and will rely on its advantages in fields such as optical fiber cables and glass manufacturing to actively participate in various economic and trade activities organized by CCPIT Sichuan. With the help of CCPIT Sichuan's functional advantages in serving foreign capital, commercial arbitration, and liaison and exchange, Corning will further promote its layout and development in Sichuan.
