On January 13, 2026, Lei Xuejie, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan, led a delegation to pay a visit to Bùi Nguyên Long, Consul General of Vietnam in Chongqing.

Vice President Lei Xuejie congratulated Consul General Bùi Nguyên Long on his assumption of office and thanked the Consulate General for its support to the work of CCPIT Sichuan since its establishment. She briefly introduced the functions, responsibilities and key work of CCPIT Sichuan, hoped to give full play to the bridge and bond role of CCPIT Sichuan and the Consulate General, relied on the sound foundation of economic and trade cooperation between Sichuan and Vietnam, invited Vietnam to be the Guest of Honor Country at the 2026 Sichuan-South Asia and Southeast Asia Business Development Cooperation Conference, participate in the 11th China (Chengdu) Smart Industry International Expo, and jointly promote exchanges and cooperation between the two places in fields such as economy, trade, culture, tourism, smart industry and commercial law services.

Consul General Bùi Nguyên Long welcomed Vice President Lei Xuejie and her delegation. He stated that the Consulate General attaches great importance to economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Sichuan, will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with CCPIT Sichuan, actively support various economic and trade activities hosted by CCPIT Sichuan, make good use of the conference and exhibition platforms, and push the exchanges between Sichuan and Vietnam to a new level.
