On March 13, the China-Russia Local Cooperation Business Forum was held in St. Petersburg. Mr. Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg, Mr. Dmitry Dakhnovsky, Russian Trade Representative to China, and Ms. Lei Xuejie, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan Council, were invited to deliver video speeches. More than 200 people attended the event, including senior government officials such as Mr. Denisov, First Vice Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, and Mr. Grigoriev, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, as well as representatives from Chinese-funded enterprises including China Chengtong International Investment Co., Ltd., Sichuan Airlines Co., Ltd., and St. Petersburg Chinese International Group, and members of the media.

Ms. Lei Xuejie stated that in recent years, Sichuan has actively leveraged its advantages in location, industry and logistics to carry out pragmatic cooperation with Russia in various fields. She highlighted Sichuan's six pillar industries and the roles of CCPIT Sichuan Council in representing the business community and people-to-people diplomacy. She noted that Sichuan will make full use of various opening-up platforms and cooperation mechanisms to further promote economic, trade and investment cooperation between Sichuan and St. Petersburg.
