Vice Governor Li Yunze Met with the Guests of the 10th China (Sichuan) - South Asia and Southeast Asia Business Leaders Summit

On September 17, Mr. Li Yunze, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, met in Chengdu with Mr. Raul Lambino, Assistant of the President of the Philippines, who attended the 10th China (Sichuan) -South and Southeast Asian Business Leaders Summit and other guests from South and Southeast Asian countries.

Mr. Li welcomed all guests came to Sichuan to attend the Summit. He said that China and South and Southeast Asian countries have been good neighbors for generations and good partners for win-win cooperation, forming a solid foundation for economic cooperation and establishing a relatively mature cooperation framework and cooperation mechanism. The “Belt and Road Initiative” proposed by President Xi Jinping has received positive responses from South and Southeast Asian countries. The “Belt and Road Initiative” has also established an important platform for the win-win development of the countries along the route. Sichuan is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the local governments, business associations, and enterprises of these countries, and strive to turn the opportunities of the “Belt and Road” construction into a driving force for common development to better benefit people of all countries.
