In 2021, the total import and export value of Sichuan reaches 951 billion yuan (150 billion USD) ranking 8th in China, with a year-on-year increase of 17.6%. Among them, export were 570 billion yuan (90 billion USD), an increase of 22.7%; imports were 380 billion yuan (60 billion USD), an increase of 10.8%. A total of 377 companies in the world's top 500 companies have settled in Sichuan, of which 256 are overseas. 21 consulates general are approved to settle down in Sichuan. Sichuan has established a total of 418 pairs of international sister cities and friendly cooperation relationships.
