On March 30, 2023, Mrs. Lei Xuejie, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan Council, met with Mr. Agha Hunain Abbas Khan, Acting Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Chengdu, and his delegation.

Vice President Lei Xuejie welcomed the visit of Acting Consul General Agha Hunain Abbas Khan and his delegation, and invited the Consul General to attend and organize Pakistani enterprises to participate in important economic and trade activities such as the "12th China (Sichuan) South Asia & Southeast Asia Business Leaders Summit", the "9th Chengdu International Auto Parts and Aftersales Service Exhibition", and the "8th China (Chengdu) Smart Industry International Expo" held by CCPIT Sichuan Council this year, I hope to seize the opportunity of building the China Pakistan Economic Corridor with the Pakistani Consulate in the context of the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Pakistan, rely on the business mechanism platform of the Sichuan Liaison Office of the China Pakistan Business Council, continue to tap the potential of investment and trade cooperation, and deepen exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of Sichuan and Pakistan.

On behalf of Consul General Mr. Agha Hunain Abbas Khan, he thanked Vice President Lei Xuejie for her invitation and introduced the relevant information of the 4th International Textile Expo and Food and Agriculture Expo to be held in Pakistan. He stated that he will continue to strengthen communication and exchange with the CCPIT Sichuan Council, and hopes that the CCPIT Sichuan Council will lead a delegation of enterprises to visit Pakistan to participate in relevant exhibitions, further promoting bilateral economic and trade investment cooperation.

Relevant personnel from the International Relations Department, Sichuan International Exhibition Center, and the Secretariat of the Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce attended the meeting.
