On Aug. 31, Co-hosted by CCPIT Sichuan and FAO Sichuan, the Sichuan-Gomel Economic and Trade Promotion Conference & Business Matchmaking was held in Chengdu. This conference is one of events of the "Belt and Road" Sichuan International Sister City Cooperation and Development Forum, aiming to further deepen economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between Sichuan and Belarus. Mr. Andrey Konyushko, Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Ｅxecutive Committee and Mrs. Huang Li, President of CCPIT Sichuan delivered speeches.

During the matchmaking session, representatives from 29 Sichuan export-oriented enterprises, including Sichuan Energy Investment Co., Ltd., Second R&D Institution of China Railway Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and Sichuan China-Europe International Logistics Co., Ltd., and 9 key Gomel enterprises had pleasant conversation, discussing in-depth cooperation in areas such as food and beverages, agricultural machinery, chemical products, and cross-border e-commerce. Companies representatives said that the event is highly targeted and in line with the actual needs of the companies. They hoped that the CCPIT Sichuan could build more trade and investment promotion platforms to provide more exchange and cooperation opportunities for bilateral companies.
