From Sep. 12 to 16, Mrs. Huang Li, President of CCPIT Sichuan led a delegation to Macao and HongKong to attend the 1st Guangdong-HongKong-Macau Great Bay Area Development Business Conference, 2023 Mainland of China-Macau Chamber Conference and 2023 Mainland of China-Macau Chamber Conference as well as visit local business communities.

The 1st Guangdong-HongKong-Macau Great Bay Area Development Business Conference is co-hosted by CCPIT, Guangdong Government, HongKong Government and Macao Government. H.E. Edmund Ho Hau-wah, Vice President of National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, H.E. Ren Hongbin, President of CCPIT, H.E. Lee Ka Chiu John, Chief Ｅxecutive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and H.E. Ho Iat-seng, Chief Ｅxecutive of the Macao Special Administrative Region delivered speeches. During the event, parallel thematic seminars, project matchmaking, site visits were also held. More than 1000 people from 20 countries and regions attended the conference, focusing on the digital economy, green finance, cultural tourism exhibitions, interconnection and other hot topics of concern.

2023 Mainland of China-Macau Chamber Conference was held on Sep. 13. President Huang Li gave an exchange speech as a representative of the Provincial CCPIT delegates, pointing out that Sichuan is a major economic province and a national strategic rear area in China. It is accelerating to become a new highland for reform and a new frontier for opening up. It complements the economic advantages of Macao and has great potential for cooperation. She said that CCPIT Sichuan will continue to increase its efforts to promote exchanges and cooperation with the Macao business community, jointly promote the construction of platforms, jointly expand overseas markets, jointly build cooperation mechanisms, and promote the deepening and solidification of economic and trade cooperation between the two places.

2023 Mainland of China-Macau Chamber Conference

2023 Mainland of China-Hongkong Chamber Conference was held on Sep. 15. President Huang Li said in her exchange speech that Sichuan and Hong Kong have a good foundation and broad space, and look forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong's business community, to serving and integrating into the national strategy, working together to promote high-level opening up, and making good use of the mechanism platform to help Sichuan-Hong Kong economic and trade cooperation reach a new level.

During the stay, Huang Li also visited local trade promotion agencies and business associations including the Chinese Manufacturer’s Association of HK, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, Macao Importers & Exporters Association and Macao Chamber of Commerce. She introduced Sichuan’s profile, leading industries and jobs of CCPIT Sichuan and invited local agencies to visit Sichuan and participate in Sichuan’s key economic and trade events. She also exchanged the view with them regarding Establishing a normalized and long-term communication and cooperation mechanism, jointly building an economic and trade platform, strengthening the docking of enterprise needs, and deepening pragmatic economic and trade cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation carried out exchanges and contacts with relevant institutions and enterprises, and expanded the business network, reaching a total of about 1.1 billion yuan in procurement contracts and cooperation intentions.
