Approved by Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce is a provincial and joint foreign economic and trade organization voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions, and social organizations engaged in international trade, investment, cooperation and related businesses in Sichuan. It is a group member of China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC). It is also a main institution that promotes the participation of Sichuan enterprises in the process of economic globalization. The purpose is to implement the decisions and deployments of the national and provincial party committees and governments, promote exchanges and cooperation in Sichuan's foreign trade, investment, commercial law and economic technology, lead Sichuan enterprises to participate in international economic competition and cooperation, and promote the Sichuan to be an open economic highlands.

The Chamber, currently with more than 1,350 members, 22 professional committees and 14 overseas representative offices covering all industries and fields of Sichuan Province, is broadly representative, international and regional.
