Organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Automotive Sub-Council (CCPIT-Auto), Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Sichuan Council (CCPIT-Sichuan), 2015 Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS) has been successfully held on 21^st May at Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition& Convention Center. The show covered 35,000 sqm and attracted approximately 668 exhibitors from around the world, an increase of 10 percent from last year.

     CAPAS is based on the development strategy of the Belt and Road Initiative, rooted in Sichuan and West China and oriented towards the International Countries. CAPAS focuses on building a professional platform for auto service industry integrated with trade, investment and technological cooperation, in order to promote Sichuan automotive parts and the aftermarket industry.   

 A Tour by Chairman Wang Xia and President Li Gang

      Many industry’s leading companies showcased their new products at the 2015 show, including Hengst, Huirun, Liqui Moly, Luoshi, Ruili, Songtian. FCAR, BWM, Delian. The show attracted 20 thousand professional purchasers, dealers and wholesalers, including Sichuan, Chongqing, Gansu, Guangdong, Guizhou, Ningxia, Shanxi, Shanxi, Yunnan, Hongkong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Israel and Hungary.  

A View to Auto Accessories by Purchasers and Dealers

    CCPIT Sichuan organized 83 companies from Gangan, Neijiang, Ziyang, Luzhou, Guangyuan attending this fair. The exhibition area reached 2000 m², which doubled over last year. Exhibits not only included automotive parts, auto repair&maintenance equipment, auto accessories and car tuning, but also displayed Ziyang Chuanghu vehicle, Huacheng Jinbei vehicle and Ya’an new energy vehicle.

     At the opening ceremony, Mr. Stephan Buurma, Member of the Extended Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Mr. Wang Xia, Chairman of CCPIT Auto and Mr. Li Gang, President of CCPIT Sichuan gave us welcome speeches. Consuls of Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Chengdu and representatives from associations participated in as well.

     On the West China International Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Purchasing Forum, Mr. Wang Xia, Chairman of CCPIT Auto, Ms. Zhou Shaolan, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai), Mr. Mohamad Nasri Bin Abdul Rahman, Consul General of Malaysia in Kunming, Mr. Balázs Szilágyi, Consul General of Hungary in Chongqing and Mr. Amir Lati, Consul General of Israel in Chengdu delivered spectacular speeches respectively. In addition, Sichuan automotive parts industry was introduced by leaders from Neijiang and Linshui. 

     12 supporting programs were held centering on the main theme.
