On March 7, 2017, vice president Lv Furong met a delegation led by Mr. Yair Albin, the Commercial Counselor of Consulate General of Israeli in Chengdu. 

Commercial Counselor Yair Albin said that there are great market potentials in southwest China, and CCPIT Sichuan Council has rich enterprises resources and influences. So he hopes Suchan and Israel can strengthen their cooperation on modern agriculture, high and new technology, manufacturing, aquatic technology, chemistry, tourism, etc. Commercial counselor Yair Albin invited the council to organize enterprises to participate in the famous exhibitions held in Israel such as aquatic technology, medical equipment, biopharmacy, etc., and introduce more Sichuan enterprises to go to Israel for economic and trade cooperation. He hopes that the information share and economic and trade exchanges will be promoted through the cooperation between Israel and CCPIT Sichuan Council.

Vice president Lv Furong said Sichuan will highly promote the seven traditional advantageous industries and seven new strategic industries, so the two sides have great cooperation potentials in electronic information, new energy automobile, new material, intelligent manufacturing, modern agriculture, new hi-tech industries, etc. She said Sichuan Coumcil will promote the innovative technological cooperation between Sichuan government and Ministry of Economy of Israel, and strengthen the economic, trade, investment, and technological cooperation between Sichan and Israel. Israeli enterprises are welcome to participate in the "4th Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftersale Services (CAPAS)" and "China (Chengdu) Smart Industry International Expo"held by CCPIT Sichuan Council. Sichuan Council is working with Provincial Agricultural Bureau and Health and Family Planning Commission to prepare for the participation of "2017 Israel Water Treatment Technology and Environment Control Exhibition". There will be an "Israel Enterprises Needs" column in the International Commerce Reference sponsored by Sichuan Council to serve as a platform for information exchange and exhibitions, and to expand more cooperation channels.
