On May 25, 2017, Chen Fang, vice chairman of Province People's Political Consultative Conference, attended China Automotive Entrepreneurship Investment Summit & China (Sichuan) New Energy Automotive Industry Investment and Cooperation Conference. After the conference, vice chairman Chen Fang inspected 2017 Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftersale Service (CAPAS) and 2017 China (Chengdu) New Energy Automotive Exhibition. Wang Xia, president of CCPIT Automotive Council, Cao Jiansheng, Board Chairman of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, Chen Guanghao, director of Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau, Li Hongjun, director of Provincial Economic and Information Council, Li Gang, president of CCPIT Sichuan Council, and members of Province People's Political Consultative Conference accompanied vice chairman Chen at the exhibition. Vice chairman Chen made a thorough understanding about the exhibition, and he especially visited Sichuan New Energy Automobile Exhibition Sector and exhibitors from Nanchong, Neijiang, Guangyuan, etc. He said there are great potentials for Sichuan automobile market, especially for new energy automobiles. So he hopes Sichuan brands can take the opportunity and walk in the front of the market. During his inspection, vice chairman Chen took a test drive on the new smart car developed by Tesla of America, Tesla Model X.
