On June 13, 2017, Li Gang, president of CCPIT Sichuan Council, met with a delegation led by Kim Junggwan, vice chairman of Korea International Trade Association, and both sides signed a memorandum of understanding.
President Li Gang extended warm welcome for Kim Junggwan's first visit to Chengdu. During the talks, President Li Gang reviewed in detail the close cooperation between CCPIT Sichuan Council and the relevant agencies in South Korea in recent years and emphasized that both parties should strengthen the cooperation in providing mutual information on economic, trade and investment, introducing trade cooperation opportunities and trade partners and other areas. Kim Junggwan said both sides should actively organize the government or business delegations to carry out economic and trade cooperation such as mutual visits and investigations.
Lee Sang-il, director of Korea International Trade Association (China), Kim Tsung-wan (金宗焕), director of Korea International Trade Association (Chengdu), Lei Xuejie, secretary general of CCPIC Sichuan Council, Zhou Ji'ou, minister of International Cooperation Department, and Liao Li, vice minister of Department of International Relations, were present at the ceremony.
