Under the guidance of CCPIT Sichuan Council, the 2nd "Belt and Road" China-Indochina Peninsula International Economic Corridor (Sichuan) Development Forum sponsored by International Certificate Committee for Asia Pacific Outstanding Brands was successfully held in Chengdu  on August 9, 2017. For the purpose of "cooperation, openness and win-win situation", this forum strives to build a high-end platform to facilitate exchange and cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road".

Vice president Li Li attended the forum and delivered a speech. In his speech, Li Li introduced Sichuan's investment and trading environment, shared the economic advantages and potential of Sichuan and the "Indochina Peninsula international economic corridor" and encouraged industrial enterprises of infrastructure construction, services, tourism and investment to actively participate in the regional economic development of "Indo-China Peninsula international economic corridor". Li Li said, CCPIT Sichuan Council would make efforts to facilitate economic cooperation between Sichuan and countries of Indo-China Peninsula, mobilize and organize more Sichuan enterprises to visit Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia for economic and trade events. Relevant institutions and enterprises of Indochina Peninsula countries are all welcomed to expand market and pursuit common development in Sichuan. Datuk Chen Youquan, president of International Certificate Committee for Asia Pacific Outstanding Brands, Datuk Wira Abu Bakar, Malaysia deputy minister of Science, Technology & Innovation, Chhit Kim Yeat, deputy minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Datuk Kairushalier, president of Malaysia Halal Food Association, Cao Shiru, vice president of Sichuan International Chamber of Commerce, party secretary and chairman of Chengdu Hongqi Chain Co., Ltd. attended the event. Over 500 industry leaders, outstanding entrepreneurs and people from all walks of life from Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia participated in the forum.

With its role as a promotion platform for bilateral economic and trading exchange and cooperation, the forum successfully facilitated cooperation intentions and signing of cooperation agreements between Sichuan Edon Agricultural Dvp. Co., Ltd. and Belt and Road Cambodia ASEAN Development Fund, Chengdu SMEs and International Certificate Committee for Asia Pacific Outstanding Brands, Female General Manager of Sichuan Tourism Hotel Association with international management companies. <font color="span">The forum has played a positive role in facilitation cooperation and exchange between Sichuan and Indochina Peninsula countries in fields of economy & trade, tourism, culture and investment.
