On November 29, 2019, Vice President Ms. LeiXuejie met with Ms. Netnapit Chulakanista, the new Commercial Consul of Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu.

President Lei welcomed her first visit to CCPIT Sichuan Council, and thanked the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu and the Department of International Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand for their support. She briefed her on basic Sichuan information, the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand in recent years, and introduced the Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services, China(Chengdu) Smart Industry International EXPO and China (Sichuan)-South and Southeast Asian and Southeast Asian Business Leaders Summit and other major economic and trade activities, hoping the Consulate General and the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand can help invite Thai politician and Thai companies to participate in those events, and help promote Thailand to become the Country of guest honor for the next year's summit.

Ms. Netnapit thanked CCPIT Sichuan Council and expressed her full agreement with the suggestions made by President Lei. She said that she would actively assist CCPIT Sichuan Council and widely invite Thai companies to participate in these events. She also introduced relevant information about the Thai exhibition, welcomed our organization to invest in Thailand to start a business. She also suggested that the two parties exchange exhibition and corporate resources, build a broader cooperation platform for the cooperation between the bilateral companies, and improve the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation.

Relevant personnel from the International Liaison Department accompanied the meeting.
