On May 8, 2019, Mr. Li Gang, President of CCPIT Sichuan Council, met with Mr. Kim Zonghuan, the chief representative of the Chengdu Representative Office of the Korea Trade Association and Mr. GaoFanrui, the new chief representative.

Mr. Li first thanked the Chengdu Representative Office of the Korea Trade Association for its support over the years and congratulated Mr. Gao on his appointment. He introduced the major economic and trade activities such as Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services, China(Chengdu) Smart Industry International EXPO hosted by CCPIT Sichuan Council and sincerely invited them to take part in these events.

Mr. Kim thanked Mr. Li for his strong support during his tenure, and said that he would actively organize Korean companies to participate in the various events. In the future, the Korea Trade Association will focus on areas such as trade services and medical care to help Korean companies expand the western China market. He hoped to maintain close contact with CCPIT Sichuan Council and jointly host economic and trade activities such as the Sichuan-Korea Business Matching Fair.

Mr. Li said that he will actively cooperate with the Korean Trade Association and specifically invite Sichuan enterprises to participate in matchmaking and other activities. On May 20 this year, CCPIT Sichuan Council will organize a Sichuan agricultural food delegation to South Korea to participate in the "Seoul International Food Show 2019". He hopes that the Korean Trade Association will invite local counterparts to visit and negotiate with Sichuan enterprise booths.

Mr. Gao, the new chief representative of the Chengdu Representative Office of the Korean Trade Association, said that he would continue to maintain good cooperation with CCPIT Sichuan Council

Relevant personnel from the General Office, Exhibition Department and the International Cooperation Department accompanied the meeting.
