Invited by CCPIT Sichuan Council, Sheikh Juma, Prince of UAE, visited Chengdu from November 9th to 12th, 2019 to learn about Sichuan's investment policy and investment environment. On November 11, Sichuan-Dubai Business Seminar hosted by the CCPIT Sichuan Council and co-organized by the Sichuan Economic Cooperation Bureau was held in Chengdu.

After the economic and trade delegation organized by the CCPIT of Sichuan Council has just concluded its visit in Dubai, Sheikh Juma, Prince of UAE, visited Sichuan for the first time at the invitation of the CCPIT Sichuan Council in order to further deepen the understanding of Sichuan's investment policy and environment and to In-depth discuss on investment and trade cooperation between the two parties in the fields of energy chemicals, food and beverage, high-tech and cultural tourism. Sheikh Juma is currently the chairman of the board of the MAG Group, a Fortune 500 company (ranked 16th). Mr. Li Yunze, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province had a greeting meeting with Mr. Sheikh Zhuma.

CCPIT Sichuan Council organized more than 30 companies in this seminar. Mr. Li Gang, president of CCPIT Sichuan Council stated in his speech that in recent years, Sichuan and the UAE have always maintained a close cooperative relationship, and the bilateral investment and trade volume has increased year by year. He hoped that the two sides would deepen cooperation and exchanges. He pointed out that Sichuan plans to hold a "Sichuan Day" during the Dubai World Expo in December 2020. At that time, Prince Sheikh Zhuma will be invited to attend the event and organize Dubai enterprises to conduct docking negotiations.

during the seminar, six Sichuan enterprises made recommendations to foreign guests on their product performance and investment prospects. After the promotion, foreign guests had an interactive exchange with the enterprise one by one on product performance, market scope and investment prospects. The two sides enhanced their understanding and strengthened their relations through promotion activities, laying a foundation for tapping more bilateral investment and trade opportunities.
