From October 29 to November 5, 2019, Ms. Huang Li, vice chairman of CCPIT Sichuan Council, led a delegation to Russia, Uzbekistan and Thailand to carry out economic and trade activities, and achieved good results.

First, build a platform, and the results of the exhibition continue to be highlighted

The "Third China Machinery Industry (Russia) Brand Exhibition" held on October 29-31, with an exhibition area of 8,000 square meters, attracted 150 Chinese high-quality manufacturing companies to participate. There are 20 Sichuan companies in total, including 14 exhibitors, with an exhibition area of 135 square meters, which focused on the province's intelligent manufacturing, power generation equipment, agricultural machinery, and other machinery industry products. According to preliminary statistics, Sichuan enterprises received more than 500 professional visitors. Among the 14 companies participating in the exhibition, one company made a deal on the spot and 13 companies reached cooperation intentions, involving 67 projects.

Second, focus on docking, and the talks are effective

On November 1, 2019, "2019 China (Sichuan)-Uzbekistan Machinery Industry Promotion Conference" was held in Tashkent. Ms. Huang attended and delivered a speech.

Twenty famous Sichuan machinery enterprises, including intelligent manufacturing, power generation equipment, industrial pumps and valves, agricultural machinery, instrumentation, and transmission components, had face-to-face communication with 132 Uzbekistan business representatives.

Third, Establish a mechanism, and unblock long-term cooperation channels

In order to give full play to the role of CCPIT in helping local enterprises to “go global” and “introducing in”overseas institutions and enterprises, and to build new bridges and ties between Sichuan-Russia and Sichuan-Ukraine economic and trade cooperation, CCPIT Sichuan Council and Sichuan International Chamber of Commerce have set up representative offices in Russia and Uzbekistan respectively with unveiling ceremonies.

Fourth, strengthen research and continue to establish "Sichuan Overseas Exhibition and Sales Center"

Ms. Huang visited the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Leningrad State Economic Council, the St. Petersburg Overseas Chinese Association, and the St. Petersburg Bank in St. Petersburg, Russia; investigated the Pengsheng Industrial Park in Uzbekistan; and visited the Sichuan-Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok, Thailand, Well-known industry organizations such as the Thai Sichuan Chamber of Commerce and the Thai Chamber of Commerce conducted in-depth investigations to understand the operation of Sichuan products in the local market, and explored the establishment of a Sichuan Overseas Exhibition and Sales Center" to create a "Sichuan Made" display platform.

Fifth, Deep exchanges and early planning for 2020 China (Sichuan) -South and Southeast Asian Business Leaders Summit

In order to further expand the influence of the "China (Sichuan) -South Asian and Southeast Asian Business Leaders Summit", during this visit to Thailand, Ms. Huang, on behalf of the CCPIT Sichuan Council, sincerely invited the Thai Chamber of Commerce to be the co-organizor of the summit and make Thailand the Guest Country of honor, and jointly build a platform for companies in various countries and regions in South and Southeast Asia to provide broader opportunities for cooperation and development.
