On November 17, 2020, sponsored by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, CCPIT SichuanCouncil and Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, Chongqing Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Tianfu New District Management Committee and other units jointly organized the “2020 Overseas Chinese Sichuan & ChongqingElite Assembly—Tianfu New Area Alliance of Chambers of Commerce Conference held in Chengdu" was held in Chengdu. Lei Xuejie, vice president of CCPIT Sichuan Council, was invited to attend the event.

    With the theme of "Overseas Chinese Gather in Sichuan and Chongqing and Share New Opportunities", the event invited more than 400 representatives from China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, Chongqing Chinese Business Association, Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province, and overseas Chinese-funded enterprises in Sichuan, to gather in Chengdu, seek common development and work together to play the new "Overseas Brand". Chen Fang, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice Chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Liu Yiqin, Vice Chairman ofthe China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, and Shi Quanbo, Party Secretary of theChongqing Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, delivered speeches which encourage and support overseas Chinese businessmen to play a good role as a bridge to promote Sichuan and Chongqing to participate in accelerating the formation of a new development pattern with the domestic market as the mainstay while the domestic and international markets complement each other.
