On September 24, 2021, the Investment Promotion Meeting "Seize Macao, Seize the Opportunities of Portuguese-Speaking Countries" jointly sponsored by CCPIT Sichuan Council and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute was held in Chengdu. Representatives of the Macao Banking Association and the Macao Bar Association, representatives of the permanent secretariat of the forum for economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese speaking countries (Macao), including Angola, Brazil and Cape Verde, representatives of embassies in China and representatives of Chinese and Portuguese enterprises introduced Macao's financial and legal advantages and the investment environment and policies of Portuguese-Speaking countries.

Ｅxecutive Director U U Sang Vincent said that under the background of deepening cooperation between Hengqin and Guangdong and Macao, Macao's development is entering a new chapter, and the construction of China Portugal international trade center will further promote cooperation between China and Portuguese-Speaking countries. China's one belt, one road to Macao, will be based on Macao's unique advantages and platform, focusing on the cooperation and development of post epidemic economic recovery, helping China and Portugal to build a joint area and eventually building a common business.

The "Sichuan Chengdu Macao Week" is the fifth stop Macao week after Beijing, Hangzhou, Jiangsu and Shanghai. "MinM Macao production, Macao brand and Portuguese-Speaking country product exhibition area", "minM Macao manufacturing and Macao brand exhibition area" and "Portuguese-Speaking country exhibition area" were set up to show the product characteristics and business advantages of Macao and Portuguese-Speaking countries to the participating merchants.
