On March 10, 2022, CCPIT Sichuan Council held an online video conference with the Representative Office in Pakistan (hereinafter referred to as the "representative office") to exchange information on the work in 2021 and the work plan in 2022.

Vice President Lei Xuejie fully affirmed the achievements of the representative office in the past year and hoped that the representative office would continue to give full play to its overseas advantages, make full use of the bilateral business mechanism platform of the China-Pakistan Business Council, and continue to do a good job in liaison and expansion, enterprise research, information services, event invitation and so on.

Representative Ma Jian said that in the past year, under the correct leadership of the CCPIT Sichuan Council, the representative took the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan as an opportunity, relying on the platform advantages of the liaison office, overcame the adverse effects of instability and epidemic raging in Pakistan at home and abroad, and successively organized Pakistani dignitaries, local governments Leaders of mainstream business associations and enterprise representatives participated in major economic and trade activities such as China (Sichuan) - Pakistan Agricultural Cooperation Promotion Conference, the 11th China (Sichuan) - South Asia and Southeast Asia Business Leaders Summit, and the annual meeting of China-Pakistan Business Council. This year, the representative office will continue to combine the China Pakistan Economic Corridor and the industrial characteristics of Sichuan, strengthen its work in agricultural food, automobile manufacturing, chamber of Commerce exchanges, information services and other aspects, and practically serve enterprises in our province.
