On March 30, 2022, CCPIT Sichuan Council held an online video conference with the representative offices of Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce in Uzbekistan and Oman to exchange views on cooperation in 2022 and jointly promote the work of representative offices abroad. Mrs. Lei Xuejie, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan Council, and Mr. Zou Jiou, Secretary General of CCPIT Sichuan Council, attended the above two meetings respectively.

Vice President Lei Xuejie first one belt, one road to the Uzbekistan representative office, which has been grateful for the work of the delegation, including joint visits, joint efforts to fight epidemic diseases and building platforms. It briefed the representative office on the Sichuan's work on promoting trade in 2021 and the seventh meeting of the China Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee, CAPAS and the 2022 National Cooperation Forum of the "one belt and one way" International Cooperation Forum. It is hoped that the representative office will give full play to its own advantages, strengthen information services, rely on the platform of Pengsheng Industrial Park in Uzbekistan, provide Sichuan enterprises with first-hand comprehensive information such as investment policy, trade supply and demand, service guarantee and so on, and give full play to the functions of representative offices abroad.

Mr. Ji Qiuhai, chief representative of Uzbekistan Representative Office, thanked CCPIT Sichuan Council for its support. He said that Uzbekistan has huge market potential in the fields of traditional agriculture, food, chemical fertilizer and household appliances, and the labor cost is low. He hopes to vigorously promote and publicize to Sichuan enterprises. The representative office will play an active role in promoting the cooperation between Sichuan enterprises and Uzbekistan.

One belt, one road, was introduced by Mr. Ding Aicang, the representative of Oman, and the work of the representative office under the epidemic. The next step is to increase the strength of external liaison and service enterprises in the cooperation of Chambers of Commerce, commodity display, information exchange and legal services, so as to promote the construction of Sichuan enterprises with the help of the "one belt and one way" platform and move towards Oman and the Middle East market.

Secretary Zou Jiou has one belt, one road, and the other two sides. He has fully affirmed the work of Oman's representative office since its establishment. He also said that Oman is an important bridge to expand the Middle East market. He hoped that Oman representative office would make full use of the strategic opportunities of "one belt road initiative" and the development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, with the help of its own overseas exhibition platform advantages, and boost more high-quality products of Sichuan and export Oman and the Middle East.
