Since its establishment, the representative office of Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce in Bhutan (hereinafter referred to as the "representative office") has been committed to promoting economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and Bhutan. In the context of normalized epidemic prevention and control, actively hold various online and offline economic and trade exchange activities such as National Day reception, constantly integrate resources, and actively build a professional service platform for Chinese enterprises to expand Bhutan's international market.

In order to effectively serve Sichuan enterprises and expand Bhutan's high-end garment market, the representative office went to the Bangladesh factory of Sichuan enterprise Donglian Garment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Donglian garment") on April 17, 2022. Sichuan enterprise Donglian Garment Co., Ltd. was established in 2011. Its main business includes the production of T-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, work clothes and other clothing. With its high-quality products and competitive prices, Donglian garment is very famous in the local market. At the same time, it has cooperated with many European high-end clothing brands and become an important partner in its supply chain. After the investigation, the representative office immediately began to carry out relevant work to promote Donglian garment making to expand the Bhutanese market and strengthen communication with the bay of Bengal multi domain economic and Technical Cooperation Organization (BIMSTEC).

On April 19, the head of the representative office and the head of Donglian clothing visited BIMSTEC to preliminarily determine the cooperation mode of "jointly establishing vibe clothing brand in Bhutan and exporting to Bhutan". According to the negotiation results, determine the brand logo and garment style, and start the production of samples. On April 23, the person in charge of the representative office and Donglian clothing showed the finished clothing to the relevant representatives of Bhutan. The Bhutanese representative was very satisfied with the ready-made clothing samples and hoped that Donglian would be put into mass production as soon as possible. On April 25, the first batch of clothing was sent to Bhutan, showing the high work efficiency and good international image of Sichuan enterprises. Relevant representatives of Bhutan expressed satisfaction with this batch of products.

In addition, the representative office also actively promoted Donglian garment making and provided customized clothes for the volunteer team created by the king of Bhutan. The Bhutan volunteer project was initiated by the king of Bhutan. Its main goal is to encourage all citizens to actively participate in national construction and play a civic role. In case of natural disasters such as mountain fires and floods, special clothes are needed to protect the safety of volunteers. To this end, the representative office has communicated with Donglian garment making for many times, hired professionals, repeatedly tested and improved in garment finalization, material selection and other links, and strive to provide high-quality products.
