On November 30, 2022, in order to further strengthen the communication and docking between our province and the Argentine business community, CCPIT Sichuan Council and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Production, Industry and Trade in Argentina jointly held the China Argentina "Cloud Trade Bridge" (Sichuan Special Session) activity to promote economic and trade cooperation and build a practical exchange platform.

Ms. Xia Diya, Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Argentina, Mrs. Lei Xuejie, Vice President of CCPIT Sichuan Council, Mr. Belkovic, Deputy Secretary of State for Productivity and Regional Development of the Ministry of Economy of Argentina, Legido, Director of the Planning and International Cooperation Department of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mr. Li Zheng, Deputy Director of the Personal and Small and Medium Enterprises Sector of ICBC Argentina, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Kong Aili Alejandra, Ｅxecutive Manager of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Production, Industry and Trade in Argentina.

In her speech, Vice President Lei Xuejie introduced the basic situation, industrial development and business environment of Sichuan Province. She said that Sichuan and Argentina had frequent exchanges, especially in the fields of international sister city cooperation, economic and trade exchanges, agricultural science and technology, infrastructure, culture and education. Argentina's establishment of a consulate in Sichuan will further improve the level of bilateral cooperation. CCPIT Sichuan Council will continue to promote economic and trade cooperation between Sichuan and Argentina.

China Argentina "Cloud Trade Bridge" (Sichuan Special Session)

The China Argentina "Cloud Trade Bridge" activity was jointly planned by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Argentine Ministry of Economy, the Argentine Investment and International Trade Bureau, the Argentine Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Foundation and the Argentine Chamber of Commerce for Production, Industry and Trade in China, aiming to introduce opportunities for cooperation and trade contacts with China to the Argentine business community. Since 2021, it has jointly held provincial (municipal) special promotion and docking exchange activities with Jiangsu, Henan, Guangdong and other provinces (cities). Nearly 100 representatives of Argentine and Sichuan enterprises participated in the Sichuan special event online. CCPIT Sichuan Council answered questions about Algeria's import and export demand for Sichuan grain, chemical, meat, red wine and other products, and logistics clearance into Sichuan. The two sides hope to obtain more enterprise and project information through this activity, and strengthen follow-up communication, docking, negotiation and cooperation.
