On March 29, 2024, Vice President Lei Xuejie met with the Mr. Michael Hart, President of AmCham China.

Vice President Lei Xuejie expressed her warm welcome to President Michael Hart and his delegation's second visit to CCPIT Sichuan. She briefly introduced the situation of Sichuan Province and its development opportunities. She said that the United States has been an important trade and investment partner of Sichuan for many years, and the potential for Sichuan-US cooperation is huge. She also welcomed US economic and trade delegations to visit Sichuan and jointly promote cooperation in economic and trade investment, healthcare and wellness, and cultural and tourism. At the same time, she hoped to fully leverage the role of the mechanism of US-China Cooperation Matchmaking Project (CMP) to continuously tighten the business cooperation ties between the two sides, and further strengthen daily exchanges and cooperation in group visits, information sharing, and service for enterprises.

PresidentMichael Hart thanked CCPIT Sichuan Council for its long-term support. He said that the AmCham China has been committed to strengthening exchanges between China and the United States and promoting US companies to come to China and invest. He hoped to leverage the functional role of the service working group for foreign-invested enterprises in Sichuan Province to actively feedback the suggestions and demands of US companies operating in Sichuan and jointly do a good job of serving the two-way enterprises.
