In 2014, the annualregional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Sichuan Province amounted to 2853.67billion yuan, an increase of 8.5% over the previous year.

The actual use of foreigninvestment was 10.65 billion US dollars. The number of foreign Over 100foreign-funded enterprises is newly established which made the total number isover 500. The turnover of completed foreign contracted projects reached over 7billion US dollars. There are 78 international flights between Chengdu andother countries (regions). The number of people travelled to and from Chengduis increased 31% and 2 more foreign consular offices had found their home inSichuan which makes the total number reached to 12.
